Successful Eagle Forum Oklahoma meeting on February 17, 2025 – Presidents Day!
Dear Fellow Eagles and Friends,
We had a successful Eagle Forum Oklahoma meeting today, February 17, 2025- Presidents Day!
We had ten members attend the organizational meeting.
We started with prayer and the flag salute, then had a personal meet and greet time. Then we went over a brief history and purpose of Eagle Forum, both nationally and in Oklahoma.
Our Guests included OK State Representatives Molly Jenkins, Tom Gann, Jim Shaw, and
Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell!
We had a discussion of lobbying etiquette and strategy, then ended the day by lobbying Representative John Kane on the issue of virtual/homeschool students being allowed to play sports through the public schools.
We knew it had to be a blessed Eagle Forum meeting in progress when the room we were allowed to use had a beautiful picture of a flying eagle on the wall!
